ACT III is designed to prepare actors, writers, and content creators for careers in film, television, theater, and digital media. The program includes:

Creative Development & Original Content
Each student develops multiple original concepts—such as a short film, TV screenplay, and digital project—allowing them to take ownership of their creative future.
Showcase & Industry Introductions
The program culminates in a live and digital showcase, attended by and invited audience of entertainment industry professionals. Students graduate with career assets in-hand and industry eyes on their work.
Broken Into Four Comprehensive Quarters
Quarter One: Theater Series
July-September
Classes include Advanced Acting Techniques, Rehearsal, and the Character Key. The quarter culminates with a live theater performance
Quarter Two: Film Series
October-December
Classes include Pathology Key, On-Camera Dynamics, Business of Producing, and Film Script Analysis. The quarter culminates with a short film festival featuring work created by students throughout the series.
Quarter Three: Television Series
January-March
Classes include Booking the Commercial, Acting For Television Genres, Writing Your Pilot, and Voice-Over Technique. The quarter culminates with a screening of recorded Television scenes featuring the students.
Quarter Four: Digital Media
April-June
Classes include Stand Up Comedy, Launching Your Career, and Digital Content Creation. The quarter culminates in a professional showcase for an invited audience of industry professionals.
There will be an Industry Professional Masterclass or Workshop as well as three one-on-one mentoring sessions in every quarter.
LAPAC x LACAE: A New Chapter in Professional Training
The Los Angeles Community of Acting and Entertainment (LACAE) is collaborating with the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory (LAPAC) to present our flagship Act III: Professional Training Program—a one-year career accelerator for emerging artists.
Founded in 1996, LAPAC is a licensed institution under the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) and accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST). Their longstanding commitment to excellence in performing arts education provides the academic framework and credentials that support our program.
Enrollment and certification are administered through LAPAC as they join us in our vision of offering this incredible program. This structure ensures students receive high-level instruction from a dedicated faculty along with access to recognized academic credit, certificates, and eligibility for both domestic and international enrollment.
Together, we’re expanding access to world-class training, vibrant creative spaces in Los Angeles, and a curriculum designed to launch careers in today’s evolving entertainment industry.
